Fairytale

Written for Jonathan and Madeline
on their wedding day
September 12,2009.
May God reachly bless this union.

A story old as time itself,
over and over it's been told
and so today it’s common knowledge
everyone is sure to know,
to wake a princess from her slumber
a kiss of love is all you need.
Then let me place my lips to yours
and we will ne'er sleep ever more,
let our hearts to love be liened,
I your king and you my queen,
we will write a storybook
with love to fill the pages
a fairytale for the ages.
And generations yet to come,
filled with jealous admiration,
will mimic closely our example;
A kiss of love is all we need.
